Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. of America recently announced the appointment of Christopher E. Ostrander as president of Cooper North American Tire Company. The appointment will take effect on January 17, 2011. Ostrander's most recent position was Eaton’s vice president and general manager of the corrector business. He joined Eaton in 2008. In announcing the appointment of Ostrander as President of Cooper North America Tire, Roy Armes, chairman, president and CEO of Cooper, stated: "Ostrander's participation in Cooper management made me very happy. The passenger cars and light truck tires manufactured by Cooper North American Tire Company are mainly supplied in the United States replacement tire market.
