The noise measurement of the air conditioning system is a general noise measurement, mainly using the A characteristic and, if necessary, the octave spectrum. The objects to be measured are mainly fans, pumps, mufflers and rooms. When the sound level of a certain fan is measured, the noise existing around the fan when stopping is called background noise. When the background noise is more than 8 dB lower than the fan noise, the influence of background noise can be ignored. Design methods and measures for noise reduction At present, noise reduction is mainly realized in two ways: one is to reduce the noise generated by the air conditioning system itself, and the other is to provide a muffler on the ventilation line. Obviously, the former is the main solution and the latter is the auxiliary measure. Sound-absorbing design (1) When designing an air-conditioning system, a low-noise ventilator should be used, and the fan should be operated at the highest efficiency point to reduce the fan noise. (2) Before the muffling design, the air duct design must be carried out in detail. As long as the indoor air distribution is not affected, it is advisable to select a larger size air supply port so that the air supply volume of each air outlet is as close as possible to the design value. (3) The air flow rate in the ventilation duct should not be too large to reduce the noise generated by the airflow fluctuation. For the system with general noise elimination requirements, the flow velocity in the main air duct should not exceed 8m/s, and the noise suppression requirements are strict. In the system, the flow velocity in the main air duct should not exceed 5m/s, and the flow velocity in the branch pipe connected to the air supply port should not exceed 3m/s. (4) In order to avoid the transmission of indoor noise generated by mechanical vibration transmission, measures to prevent vibration transmission must be adopted. The inlet and outlet pipes on rotary equipment such as ventilators and pumps should be elastically connected. Use soft joints for water pipes and air ducts, and use anti-vibration hangers for vibration isolation. (5) The external noise and the sound insulation of the external wall should be considered when selecting the indoor allowable noise level for calculation. In the case of noisy and poorly sounded windows, it is meaningless to keep the indoor allowable noise caused by the air conditioner low. For noise sources, the allowable noise level can be set higher. Sound-absorbing materials shall be attached to the air-conditioned room of the air-conditioned room through the enclosure structure, and sound-absorbing materials shall be attached to the air duct as needed. It is also possible to achieve a noise reduction effect by installing the fan in a small room. (6) For the case where the average RC level is below 30 dB and there are special quiet conditions in the room, such as radio, television studios, concert halls, and residences, detailed muffling calculations must be performed. The configuration of the muffler and the sound absorbing material are relatively easy to generate noise due to the fact that the wind in the air duct flows through the bend and the tee, so that the muffler is more prominent in these parts. In the preliminary design, it can be selected according to the probability number of Table 3. Among them, the sound-absorbing elbow and the muffling tee can be selected, and the muffler box can also be selected. More than half of the muffler should be placed outside the machine room to prevent the noise in the machine room from being present in the air duct after the muffler.
