2010 “12th Five-Year” Standardized Planning Instruments and Meters Preparation Meeting Held

In order to prepare for the “12th Five-Year” standardization planning of the machinery industry, on July 27-29, 2010, the China Machinery Industry Federation organized 25 standardization committees, industry associations, and some corporate representatives to hold instruments in Dandong, Liaoning Province. The “Twelfth Five-Year” standardized planning (instrumentation, instrumentation and cultural office equipment) workshops for instrumentation, cultural and office equipment were organized. Deputy Secretary-General Wang Jindi of China Federation of Machinery Industry, Director Tan Xiangning of the Standardization Department of China Machinery Industry Federation, Deputy General Secretary Dong Jingchen of China Instrument and Meter Industry Association, and Feng Xiaosheng, Chief Engineer of China Culture and Office Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association attended the meeting. Liu Xiancheng, secretary of the National Electrotechnical Instruments Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC104), attended the meeting. The conference was organized by the Instrument Research Institute of Liaoning Province.

The main content of this meeting:

Summing up the experience and lessons of standardization work since the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan";

Discuss the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" standardization plan for machinery industry (draft for comment);

To study the development objectives, key areas, and projects for the standardization of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” and propose measures and recommendations;

The 15 standard committees responded to the reported “12th Five-Year Plan” national standards for machinery industry and key projects for industry standard revision, and passed expert review.

The meeting requested all the standard committees to report the revised key projects for the national industrial and industrial standards of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” industry before August 27, 2010.
