8. Structural characteristics and working principle
a) Encoder housing is manufactured from Ф75's garden steel. A transmission shaft is output on one side of the housing and is connected with the output shaft of the motor or other related rotating mechanisms. The center of gravity of the encoder installation coincides with no cracks, complete cables, and neat end points of the interface.
b) Another inlet of the housing is provided with an inlet nozzle for external connection.
c) The encoder is an optical encoder. There are four external lines, which are +24V, 0V, A, B, respectively. The encoder uses the principle of photoelectric conversion to output two groups of square-wave pulses A and B; A, B The two groups of pulses have a phase difference of 60°.
d) When the axis of the photoelectric encoder rotates, both A and B lines will generate pulse output. The two phases A and B will have a phase difference of 60 degrees, which can measure the rotation direction of the photoelectric encoder. If the A-phase pulse is ahead of the B-phase pulse, the photoelectric encoder is forward, otherwise it is reversed.
working principle
The photoelectric encoder consists of a grating disk and a photoelectric detection device. The grating plate is opened on a certain diameter of a circular plate and several rectangular holes are equally divided. Since the photoelectric encoder disk is coaxial with the motor, when the motor rotates, the grating disk and the motor rotate at the same speed, and a detection device composed of an electronic element such as a light emitting diode detects and outputs a plurality of pulse signals, and the number of output pulses of the photoelectric encoder per second is calculated. Can reflect the current motor speed.
