In recent years, traditional machinery and equipment manufacturing companies in Daocheng City have focused on advanced, sophisticated and cutting-edge technologies, continuously intensify technological innovation, increase product added value, and build core competitiveness.

With the economic and social development, there is an increasing demand for energy and urgently need larger-scale energy flow pipelines. In the face of this market opportunity, Huashida Company focused its scientific research efforts on technological research, and took the lead in eliminating the old inner-air-inflating process in the province, adopting a new vacuum sizing method, and developing a production line of the largest-diameter thermal insulation pipe. This production line not only reduced the number of jobs from 10 to 2 people, but also drastically increased the amount of management and eliminated potential safety hazards.

The upgrade of the manufacturing process has increased the added value of the equipment. A 2 m diameter insulated pipe production line costs more than 2.4 million yuan. Now, the production line has been exported to Denmark, Spain, South Korea and other countries.

For the traditional machinery manufacturing industry, overcapacity leads to lower and lower average profit levels in the industry. Only by positioning the product as high-grade, precise, and cutting-edge can we break through the low profitability of excess capacity.
