Packaging machinery industry should improve the technical level

Due to the huge packaging needs in the fields of food and pharmaceuticals, packaging machinery has maintained an astonishing growth rate. At the same time, the technical requirements of intelligence, automation, controllability and compatibility have put forward higher requirements for the domestic packaging machinery production industry.

China's packaging machinery products face fierce international competition because of few varieties, low technical level, and poor product reliability. In particular, in the past five years, China has accelerated the development of deep processing of agricultural products, built a conservation-oriented society, developed a recycling economy and increased technological innovation, resulting in a new round of technology introduction. For example, in recent years, the total investment in deep processing of agricultural products in China has reached more than 320 billion yuan, and more than 80% of processing and packaging equipment is imported.

Packaging machinery manufacturers are paying more and more attention to the development of fast, low-cost packaging equipment, and the equipment is developing toward small, flexible, multi-purpose and high-efficiency. This trend also includes saving time and reducing costs, so the packaging community is looking for a combination, simplicity, and portable packaging equipment. Through imitation, the introduction of technology and capital, and global procurement, China's packaging machinery manufacturing and industrial design have been rapidly developed. Today, China's packaging machinery manufacturers can easily acquire some key components through global procurement, thereby rapidly improving the technical level and reliability of the equipment. However, the overall level is still far away from the developed countries such as the United States and Germany.

Relevant experts pointed out that the packaging machinery industry still has enormous potential for development. The domestic production enterprises must actively increase their technological level, improve their ability to adapt to the market through technological innovation, and better meet the demand for production packaging.
