Method for determining the efficiency of vibrating screen screening

In the sieving process, the vibrating screen is required to have a large processing capacity, and it is required to sift as much as possible of the fine granules smaller than the sieve holes into the undersize product. Therefore, the sieve has two important process indicators: one is its processing capacity, which is an indicator of the amount of screening work. The other is the screening efficiency, which is a quality indicator indicating the screening work, showing the effectiveness of the screening and the completeness of the screening.

The so-called sieving efficiency refers to the ratio of the weight of the actually obtained undersize product to the weight of the material contained in the sieving material which is smaller than the size of the mesh. In actual production, the screen is often worn, and some of the particles larger than the size of the mesh will always pass through the mesh through the mesh. With this in mind, the screening efficiency can be calculated according to the following formula:

E=β(a-θ)/a(β-θ)×100%

Wherein β is the content of the sieved product which is less than the sieve level, %; a is the percentage of the grade of the raw material and the on-screen product which is smaller than the size of the sieve, %; θ is the sieve containing less than the sieve The pore size fraction, %.

The screening efficiency is determined as follows: the sample is taken every 15 to 20 minutes in the material flow in the sieve and in the material flow on the sieve. The sample should be continuously sampled for 2 to 4 hours, and the average sample obtained is sieved in the inspection sieve. The sieve holes of the inspection sieve are the same as those of the sieve used for production. The a and θ are obtained separately, and the screening efficiency can be obtained by substituting into the formula. If there is no inspection sieve equal to the sieve size of the sieve, the sieve can be used for sieve analysis, the result is plotted as a sieve analysis curve, and then the percentage of the grade is determined from the sieve analysis curve. a and θ.

The screening efficiency is sometimes calculated using all of the small mesh materials, so the calculated result is called the total screening efficiency. Sometimes only a few of them are calculated, and the calculated result is called partial screening efficiency. All materials smaller than the mesh, including easy sieve particles and difficult sieve particles, so the total screening efficiency is composed of the screening efficiency of the two types of particles. If part of the sieving efficiency is obtained by easy sieving, it is inevitably more efficient than the total sieving; if it is calculated using difficult granules, it is less efficient than the total sieving. In the calculation, it is necessary to distinguish whether it is total screening efficiency or partial screening efficiency.
