Tyco Electronics Introduces New Screw Fasteners for LED Applications

Tyco Electronics announced the launch of a new board-to-board screw fastening jumper for applications such as LED Light strips, lighting control and light-emitting three-dimensional characters. The new crossover is RoHS compliant and designed for T8 and T12 fluorescent replacement lamps, especially for the solid-state lighting (SSL) market.

The new jumper provides electrical connectivity to adjacent PCBs in LED printed circuit board (PCBs) strings, simplifying the installation process in the LED application areas described above. The product can be screwed to the through hole of the aluminum base plate or a separate aluminum heat sink on the FR4 board.
