Determination of Total Nitrogen in Ammonium Phosphate by Automatic Kjeldahl Analyzer

In the past, the determination of nitrogen content in ammonium phosphate was generally carried out using international methods, namely the so-called post-distillation titration method. However, the disadvantages of this method are also obvious, it takes a long time, and the working efficiency is low. With the continuous improvement of the level of science and technology, the automatic Kjeldahl nitrogen analyzer has also been introduced with the demand. The instrument can automatically complete dilution with water, add acid, alkali, distillation, titration, automatic titration cup cleaning, Digestive tube emptying, results calculation and other processes. After debugging of the automatic Kjeldahl nitrogen analyzer, it was found to be consistent with the analysis results of the international law.

In the use of automatic Kjeldahl tester must pay attention to the following related matters, 1 before starting, check the level of distilled water, lye and receiving liquid is not lower than the liquid level sensor; timely cleaning waste liquid in the waste barrel, The liquid level of the waste liquid is not higher than the liquid level sensor, otherwise the instrument will alarm, and the ongoing experiment will be stopped; the switch of the cooling water is ensured to be open, and when there is a normal measurement, there is no protection of the cooling water and damage to the distillation apparatus. 2 After the automatic Kjeldahl nitrogen analyzer passes the self-test, it enters the waiting-for-selection program phase. First, it enters the manual mode to eliminate the bubbles in the titrator, otherwise the measurement result is low. 3 In the blank measurement, first measure the water blank, the difference between the current two blank measurement values is less than 0.05mL, and when the water blank value is less than 0.2mL, the instrument is stable; Next, the reagent blank is measured, and the blank value is input into the automatic Kjeldahl Nitrogen analyzer. If the test agent blank is not measured directly without first measuring the water blank, a high reagent blank value will be obtained and the measurement result will be low.

The determination of nitrogen content in ammonium phosphate by the Kjeldahl automatic analyzer and the analysis of the results show that the instrument simplifies the steps for determining the total nitrogen content, shortens the analysis time, improves the work efficiency, and has good accuracy and precision. It can fully meet the requirements of international standards and can measure the total nitrogen content of ammonium phosphate in batches. It is an instrument worthy of promotion.

Double Suction Pump

As an important form of Centrifugal Pump, double suction pump is widely used in engineering because of its high lift and large flow. The impeller of this pump type is actually a combination of two back-to-back impellers, and the water flow from the impellers merges into a volute. The double-suction pump has the following characteristics: it is equivalent to two single-suction impellers of the same diameter working at the same time, and the flow rate can be doubled under the same outer diameter of the impeller; the pump casing is horizontally opened, which is convenient for inspection and maintenance. The inlet and outlet of the suction pump are in the same direction and perpendicular to the pump shaft, which is conducive to the arrangement and installation of the pump and the inlet and outlet pipes; the impeller structure of the double suction pump is symmetrical, there is no axial force, and the operation is relatively stable.
