Bosch Germany's new R&D center has put into operation the first 800 employees

Bosch 's new R&D center in Renningen, Germany, has been put into operation. The first 800 employees have been stationed, and other construction and personnel recruitment plans have been completed in the summer of 2015.

The new R&D center broke ground in early 2012, including 14 buildings covering about 100 hectares. The center plans to recruit 1,700 R&D personnel. The current 800 employees are already in place. The atmosphere of the R&D center resembling a university campus will promote the innovation and communication of R&D personnel. Bosch said that it hopes to further improve its innovation capabilities by formulating more stringent requirements.

Bosch CEO Volkmar Denner stated that “Rainingen's new R&D center will enhance Bosch's innovation capabilities. Our strategic goal is to develop solutions for connected life. For this purpose, we will Develop stricter R&D networks in Renningen and later R&D centers."

The Raeningen R&D Center will be the center of Bosch's global R&D network. So far, corporate research and market expansion have been carried out at R&D centers in Gerlingen, Schwieberdingen, and Waiblingen.
