Audi test when driving

The German car giant Audi stated that its RS7 self-driving car traveled 240 km/h on the Hockenheim Track. This car took only two minutes to complete the track's lap speed. The stunts it demonstrated highlighted the company’s efforts. However, some experts warned that some obstacles still need to be overcome. A member of the auto company's research team explained that the innovation may eventually be used by the public.
Dr. Horst Glazer said: "I know that accident-free driving is still a vision, but at least we can reduce the number of accidents that will occur in the future." An industry observer pointed out that speed testing and vehicles are conducted at a few people's circuits. Driving on the road is very different. Aston Business School professor David Bailey said: "I think we will see driverless cars on the road in the next decade, but obviously there is still a lot of work to be done before that."
Audi is not the only one studying this field. Another German manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz, recently demonstrated its S-class self-driving car. Other auto companies, including Daimler, Volvo, Toyota, Tesla and BMW, also participated in artificial intelligence oriented vehicle tests.
