The two new ships are being built in China Shipbuilding Chengxi. WE Tech is expected to deliver the equipment system in October this year, which will shift the main engine of the new ship, while the shaft generator will also provide power to the grid without the use of auxiliary engines or Generator sets, which save fuel consumption and reduce operating costs. When the main engine fails, the solution will use the shaft generator as the motor to provide a reliable and cost-effective auxiliary propulsion drive to ensure the safe port of the ship. The program will also efficiently distribute power to the bow thrusters and cargo handling systems.
According to Jörgen Johnsson, General Manager of Ektank, “In terms of energy efficiency and sustainability, WE Tech's solutions are very important to our newly built next-generation chemical tanker, which will meet all future needs. ”

Solvent Additives

Lithium-ion battery electrolyte is a bridge connecting the positive and negative electrodes, and plays a role in the transmission of ions inside the battery. It is mainly composed of lithium salt, organic solvents and additives. The choice of electrolyte is closely related to the voltage, capacity, energy and power of the battery.
