(1) BMW Brilliance Automotive Co., Ltd. recalled some of the domestically produced BMW Brilliance 520Li, 525Li, 528Li and 535Li vehicles produced between October 20, 2016 and October 27, 2016, for a total of 619 vehicles;
(2) BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. recalls some imported BMW 420i, 430i, 520i, M4, mini ONE, COOPER, COOPER S, JCW and labor produced between August 19, 2016 and October 25, 2016. The Sly Dawn vehicle has a total of 660 vehicles.
Due to the manufacturer's manufacturing reasons, the airbags in this recall range cannot be deployed normally according to the requirements, which increases the risk of injury to the vehicle occupants and poses a safety hazard. BMW Brilliance Automotive Co., Ltd. and BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. will conduct free inspections for vehicles within the scope of the recall and replace the airbag module according to the inspection results to eliminate potential safety hazards. Stock vehicles will be sold after the defect has been eliminated.
