In the first three quarters of 2012, China's lubricant output declined slightly

At present, the world's lubricants market has become increasingly mature and stable, and Asia has become the main driving force in the lubricants market. With the expansion of the scale of development, the technical level of the industry and the technical requirements for green energy conservation will also increase. However, the development of energy conservation and environmental protection trends shows that there is a large gap between China's base oil technology research and development capabilities and the level of additive production technology. China Merchants Information Network monitoring data shows that: In the first three quarters of 2012, the national output of lubricants reached 6.296 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.28%. In September, China produced 762,600 tons of lubricating oil, an increase of 6.98% year-on-year.

Judging from the output of various provinces and cities, from January to September 2012, the output of lubricants in Jiangsu Province reached 1.27 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.83%, accounting for 20.18% of the country's total output. Followed by Liaoning Province, Shandong Province and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, which accounted for 17.96%, 8.64% and 7.28% of the total output respectively.
