According to data from the Ministry of Commerce, in February, 1,565 foreign-invested enterprises were newly established nationwide, up 49.7% year-on-year; the contractual foreign investment was 110.73 billion yuan, up 69.4% year-on-year. From January to February, 3,831 new foreign-invested enterprises were established nationwide, an increase of 38.6% year-on-year; the actual use of foreign investment was 138.19 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17%.
Shen Danyang said at the regular press conference of the Ministry of Commerce that from January to February, the actual use of foreign investment in China's service industry was 84.35 billion yuan, accounting for 61% of the total foreign investment in the country, an increase of 30%.
