Renault Trucks Acquires Meritor's French Axle Factory



Recently, Renault Trucks has purchased the Saint Priest wheel shaft factory in France, which is part of Meritor's component supplier. It is reported that after Renault Trucks acquired the plant, it will mainly carry out surface repair and painting of trucks.



Meritor mainly supplies drive systems, brake systems and aftermarket solutions for commercial vehicles. Meritor said that the sale of Saint Priest's axle factory is in line with the company's long-term development strategy, and it will continue to invest in its Swedish and Italian wheel factory.
