On May 22, 2019, the German Chamber of Commerce and IoT1 College visited more than 30 representatives from different foreign companies in Shanghai to visit the Voith China Training Center. Participants explored how industrial companies can improve their employees' Industry 4.0 related skills and how to acquire knowledge about digital change.

Michael Maeder (Haohua International & IoT1 Shanghai Management Partner, Director of the German Chamber of Commerce) first gave the delegation an in-depth explanation of the challenges and skills required in the digital age. Voith experts talked about the challenges they had personally experienced and shared Voith's business case for digital leadership.

At the group discussion held, the participants worked together to explore how to deal with the challenges of online learning and skills development. During the event, Siddhartha Mishra (Veith Digital Division Project Platform & Service Director) and Michael Blatzheim (Veith Digital Division Platform & Standards Vice President) delivered a speech on behalf of the expert group, and then the experts introduced the whole to the visitors.
