In September 2015, the Ministry of Science and Technology formally approved Weichai’s State Key Laboratory for the Reliability of Internal Combustion Engines. Relying on laboratories and Weichai, Weichai focused on three areas of research: overall reliability of engine, reliability of key components, and reliability prediction and evaluation of internal combustion engines.
